Bookgroove, a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture that Deniz Aktay creates, seamlessly enhances both traditional and contemporary environments.

Deniz Aktay, a designer based in Germany, ingeniously creates “Bookgroove,” a multipurpose side table that also doubles as a striking book rack. It effortlessly enhances both traditional and contemporary settings.

“The specifics of creating have been essential to my creative process throughout my schooling and professional experience. My enthusiasm developed as I honed in on creating furniture and other items.

Finding the ideal balance between material, proportion, and usefulness, in my opinion, is what makes good design. When all these factors are taken into account, creating a new artwork is a fun task every time! Aktay says.

This exceptional book rack side table is cylindrical and brilliantly features a storage part to keep one’s favorite books. It is minimal with a warm wooden Scandinavian look.

It is an all-arounder at once and doesn’t take up much space because of its unique eclectic tiny design.

This side table’s sculptural design doubles as a book rack.

“I created this product because I adore items that serve multiple purposes, and what I enjoy about this design is its compactness,” the inventor said. He adds.

The major element of this hybrid piece of furniture is a long, deep, and beautifully curved groove out of a solid wood cylinder.

The groove is expertly bent to highlight and emphasize the cylindric main part’s roundness, blending in with the overall shape and giving the impression that it is moving continuously.

Filling it with one’s favorite books will allow it to regain its original, totally cylindrical shape, allowing one to use it as both a bookcase and a table centerpiece.

Once it is fully loaded, the books and wood fuse together. Aktay says.
