The fifth edition of the Bangkok Art Biennale will take place from October 29, 2026, to February 28, 2027, across historic temples, cultural landmarks, museums, and public spaces throughout Bangkok, Thailand.
Titled Angels and Mara, the biennale explores themes of duality, morality, temptation, spirituality, and the relationship between the sacred and the contemporary urban environment. Bringing together international and Thai artists, the exhibition presents contemporary artworks in dialogue with Bangkok’s rich cultural heritage and dynamic cityscape.
The biennale will be hosted at significant locations including Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Wat Prayoon, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Museum Siam, and One Bangkok. Featuring a diverse range of artistic practices, the event offers visitors an opportunity to experience contemporary art within some of the city’s most iconic historic and cultural settings.
