Frieze Abu Dhabi will make its inaugural debut from November 19 to 22, 2026 (public days from November 20 to 22, 2026) at Manarat Al Saadiyat, located in Abu Dhabi’s prestigious Saadiyat Cultural District. The event marks a major milestone as the first fair by the global Frieze network in the Gulf region, transforming the legacy of Abu Dhabi Art into a new international platform for contemporary art.
Building on 17 years of Abu Dhabi Art’s cultural heritage, Frieze Abu Dhabi will bring together leading international and regional galleries, emerging artists, collectors, curators, and art professionals from around the world. The fair will combine Frieze’s renowned global vision with Abu Dhabi’s growing position as a center for art, culture, and creativity.
Under the direction of Dyala Nusseibeh, the inaugural edition will showcase a dynamic program of exhibitions, presentations, and artistic dialogues, highlighting diverse perspectives from the Middle East and beyond. The fair will strengthen connections between regional art communities and the international art market while supporting both established and emerging voices in contemporary art.
Taking place during a significant cultural season in Abu Dhabi, Frieze Abu Dhabi will coincide with major developments across the emirate, further enhancing Saadiyat Island’s role as a global destination for museums, cultural institutions, and artistic innovation.
