$18
The Shenzhen Art and Technology Biennale brings together art, science, and technology in an interdisciplinary exploration of perception, reality, and the infinite. Featuring works by international artists, scientists, and researchers, the exhibition examines the connections between the visible and invisible worlds.

The inaugural Shenzhen Art and Technology Biennale (SATB), titled “A Glimpse of the Infinite,” is on view at the Shenzhen International Museum of Art (SIMoA) from May 30, 2026, to April 30, 2027.

The biennale explores the relationship between art, science, technology, and perception, examining how observation can influence and shape our understanding of reality. Inspired by concepts from quantum physics, the exhibition investigates the boundaries between the visible and invisible, the known and unknown, and the finite and infinite.

Directed by Zikang Zhang and co-curated by Naiyi Wang and Mónica Bello, the exhibition brings together more than 50 international artists, scientists, and researchers. Through diverse artworks, scientific ideas, and experimental practices, the biennale offers visitors an immersive exploration of new ways of understanding the world.

As the inaugural exhibition of Shenzhen’s new museum dedicated to the intersection of art, science, and technology, the biennale establishes a significant platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and contemporary creative exploration.
