The latest updates show that excavation operations continue at King Salman Stadium in King Abdulaziz Grand Park.

The King Salman Stadium project represents a new step in the development of the Kingdom’s sports infrastructure, enhancing its readiness to host global sporting events and supporting the goals of Vision 2030 in the fields of sports and entertainment.

The stadium has a capacity of 92,000 spectators and will be the headquarters of the Saudi national team, and will host major sporting events and activities.

King Salman Stadium is integrated with King Abdulaziz Park, one of the major parks affiliated with the Green Riyadh Program, to provide fans with a unique and different experience amidst a nature consisting of thousands of trees, in addition to water bodies.

The project is expected to be completed in late 2029 to be ready to host the World Cup.
