Foster + Partners has unveiled its design for Regent Residences Dubai, a pair of 180-meter-tall residential skyscrapers in the Business Bay area of Dubai. These striking towers will feature a unique swimming pool bridge connecting their penthouse levels, offering a distinctive addition to the Dubai skyline.
Design Highlights
The skyscrapers are set to be built along the Marasi Marina and will include 60 apartments, each occupying an entire floor. The design emphasizes panoramic views, providing residents with unobstructed vistas of sunrises, sunsets, and the iconic Burj Khalifa.
Key features include:
- Private Pools and Cascading Facades: Apartments will have private pools located on staggered terraces, creating a cascading water effect along the facade.
- Penthouse Bridge: A luxurious penthouse with a swimming pool will serve as a bridge between the two towers.
- Dynamic Aesthetic: The twisting form and articulated facade of the towers will establish a visually dynamic presence on the waterfront.
Podium and Amenities
The skyscrapers will be built on a podium designed to integrate harmoniously with the Marasi Marina promenade and surrounding buildings. The podium will include:
- Green spaces and water features.
- Retail outlets and restaurants.
- A gym and multiple pools for residents.
Collaboration and Vision
Foster + Partners collaborated with Sankari Properties and IHG Hotels and Resorts to bring this vision to life. Gerard Evenden, head of the studio at Foster + Partners, highlighted the project’s connection to nature, generous shaded terraces, and its integration with the waterfront setting.
Broader Impact
Regent Residences Dubai will complement other notable developments by Foster + Partners on the Dubai waterfront, such as the Vela and Vela Viento residential skyscrapers. Together, these projects aim to redefine luxury living and architectural innovation in the region.
