Beijing China Best Architectural Design
This workspace is located between the East Fourth and Fifth Ring Road, Beijing.
It aims to provide its users with a space to work, feel close to nature and relax.
The project is located on the outskirts of the city, near the green belt.
It is low in size with spacious, flowing interior spaces, wrapped in a piece of glass,
leading the eye to the outdoor courtyards and greenery behind.
By paying more attention to the designer’s working conditions, and physical and mental health,
the project hopes the building will be the designers’ most popular office.
Urban Valley, Massy, France
Ateliers os Architectes
This office building is located in Massy, just south of Paris, within a commercial complex,
and forms part of the built environment in the area.
The engineers created a shape that appears simple but is also complex enough to hint at the surrounding landscape.
It features a series of sloping surfaces and striped leather, which add depth and nuance to the rather simple utilitarian facade.
The design makes it eye-catching but also functional,
as the flexible interior and different sections can be divided for the use of different clients if needed.
As the architects say: “The project’s overall image is that of a toolbox,
a technological and functional tool that defines the dynamism of Massey City.
Paying attention to the architectural, urban and landscape quality,
while presenting a sophisticated technical device.”

OMA
OMA’s mixed-use office complex in Japan’s fifth largest urban center has just been completed,
led by OMA partner Shohei Shigematsu.
The scheme is the first of its kind in the city, which is also the architect’s birthplace.
Building program is mostly a workspace, within a particular block that is neither low in height nor tower.
The design is therefore envisioned by highly focused interventions that subtly integrate and link the human and urban scale,
two different streets, inside and out, city and nature.
The result is an efficient office block with the most memorable corner,

with elegant intrusive cubic volumes and artificial lighting at night.
