The first of the two UX Design Awards 2023, an international annual competition, has opened.
It was recently organized by the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ) to deliver,
with a focus on user experience and design, a major added value for between life and work.
About the competition
The International Center in Berlin (IDZ) organizes the UX Design Awards 2023, a global competition focused specifically on user experience and design.
Now open for submissions for the first of the two editions for 2023.
This international competition recognizes distinct user-centered products, services, environments, concepts and visions.
This competition also focuses on the positive impact of people-centred solutions, concepts and research.
Positive user experiences also give people more satisfaction, expand their capabilities,
and strengthen their confidence in institutions, companies, systems, services and products.
The UX Design Awards reflect the impact of experience design on shaping a positive living environment for all.
So, a jury of renowned experts will nominate outstanding projects to compete in the 2023 UX Design Awards and select the winners.
The International Design Center Berlin is a leading German institution, with more than 50 years of experience.
Design is about improving people’s lives, and the Awards are central to their mission:
to promote outstanding design and recognize the people involved.
Agencies, companies, young professionals and designers are invited all over the world.
This is to bring their best work into three competing categories: ‘product’ and ‘concept’ for the professional sector and ‘new talent’ for emerging designers.
The jury, made up of leading design and industry experts,
will also nominate a limited number of entries to enter the competition, from among all valid submissions.
They will be widely promoted and participate in judging, to receive special awards and commendations.
The selected projects will receive the title of UX Design Award | nominated.
Categories
Product:
Services, products, and experimental environments that are market-ready and new.
Concept:
Prototypes, MVPs, Service Concepts, Conceptual Environments, Foresight Studies, and Research Projects.
New talent:
Master’s and Bachelor’s projects from all over the world.
Evaluation standard
On the basis of relevance, empowerment, innovation, human-centered design, integration, and sustainability, applications are judged.
Furthermore, the winners will be announced on March 1, 2023.
