Work has progressed in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium project in Qiddiya, one of the stadiums for the 2034 World Cup, which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The project is being implemented by a coalition that includes the Spanish FCC Construction and Nesma & Partners Contracting Company.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya is one of the most prominent future sports projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is expected to contribute significantly to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by enhancing sports infrastructure and hosting global events.

The stadium is located in the heart of Qiddiya, 40 minutes from Riyadh, and is distinguished by its unique location on one of the peaks of Tuwaiq Mountain at a height of 200 meters.

The stadium accommodates more than 46,000 spectators for football matches, and its capacity reaches 60,000 people when hosting various sports events and concerts.

The stadium includes large areas for shopping, dining and entertainment with an area of ​​50,000 square meters, in addition to multiple hotel options.

In October 2024, Qiddiya Investment Company awarded the stadium construction contract to a Saudi-Spanish consortium worth 4 billion Saudi riyals.
