The Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition is now open for submissions for its 2025 North American edition. Organized by Confindustria Ceramica and the Italian Trade Agency, this prestigious competition celebrates outstanding work by North American architects, designers, and students who incorporate Italian ceramic tiles into their projects.

Categories: Residential, Non-Residential, Urban Design, Design & New Applications, Students.

Prizes: Winners of built-project categories receive cash prizes up to $5,000 and a CEU-accredited trip to Bologna, Italy, to attend Cersaie 2025. Additionally, all winners will be invited to Coverings 2025 in Orlando, FL, for an awards ceremony and project presentations.

Eligibility: Open to projects completed worldwide between January 1, 2020, and September 30, 2024, by North American architects, interior designers, or design professionals. Student submissions are also welcome. Projects must prominently feature Italian ceramic or porcelain tiles from Ceramics of Italy member companies.

Date and Location: Deadline: February 14, 2025. Coverings 2025: April 29–May 2, 2025, in Orlando, FL.
