Dojo is a remarkable active kneeling chair made by NYXO that encourages movement and a sense of well-being.

The multidisciplinary firm NYXO creates “Dojo”. It’s an unusual active kneeling chair that promotes movement to assist one stay alert and concentrated for extended periods of time and to generate a sense of well-being. The imaginative concepts feature design solutions and technical advancements.

“The guiding principles of NYXO are fundamentally based on the creation of future scenarios with the potential to effortlessly combine and adapt technical innovation into goods or services.

Moreover, according to founders Mirko and Michele Daneluzzo, Dojo has a monolithic structure of curved shapes made completely of composite materials, where the knees have the support of gel cushions.

Additionally, the seat of this quirky, minimalist piece of furniture is expertly leaned forward.

Its pad also enables a position where the torso and hips are at an open angle. Therefore magnificently facilitating a body posture in which the spine’s curvature is in a natural arrangement.

This naturally releases the pressure on the spine, promotes breathing, and helps to reduce neck and shoulder tension.

Finally, the pair continues, “Thanks to its small size, this desk chair is excellent for countless settings.
