Tokyo Gendai 2026

The fourth edition of Tokyo Gendai, one of Japan’s leading international contemporary art fairs, will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, with an exclusive VIP Preview and Vernissage on September 10, at PACIFICO Yokohama in Kanagawa, Japan.

Bringing together leading international and Japanese galleries, Tokyo Gendai offers a dynamic platform for contemporary art, featuring a diverse range of established and emerging artists. The 2026 edition presents several distinctive sectors, including Galleries, Hana (Flower), Eda (Branch), Miki (Trunk), and the returning Tane (Seed). Highlights include the newly introduced Miki sector, dedicated to works on paper, photography, and printed matter, alongside Tane’s focus on digital media and technology-driven art.
