Entrants register and pay for each project before completing a separate online submission. This is an awards programme for recognition and publication, not a commissioned design brief.

Purpose, scope and categories

The programme is structured as a large, multi-category award rather than a response to one site. The organiser lists architecture, interiors, landscape, product and related creative disciplines, with built and conceptual work eligible. A project may be entered in more than one nomination, but each additional nomination carries its own fee. Entrants should choose the narrowest relevant nomination because the terms state that a sole entry in a nomination receives first place automatically.

Organizer and award record

Architecture & Design Community presents IADA as its international awards programme, while the legal terms name Digital Art Group sp. z o.o. as operator. The official site publishes a searchable winning-projects directory and company ranking. ArchUp did not infer the organisation’s age from its domain and did not treat past listings as a promise of a future commission.

ScoringEach criterion is scored from 1 to 10 and the final result is based on the average. No weighting difference between the three criteria is published.
AwardsPlatinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. The terms also state that if a nomination has only one project, that project automatically receives first place.

Fees, rights and conditions

The terms say entry fees are non-refundable. Fees include 23% VAT for individuals; companies may use reverse charge rules while the stated total remains the same. Participants retain copyright but grant the organiser a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to publish and promote submitted material. A trophy is not included: winners may order one separately within 30 days, with the current price shown on the order page and shipping or customs borne by the recipient. The organiser may exclude late entries and says it may use publicly available sources to complete a late project presentation; entrants who regard that clause as material should assess it before paying.

✦ ArchUp Competition Review

IADA offers a broad route for presenting work across built and conceptual disciplines, and the published scoring criteria are concise and comparable. The named 2027 panel covers several relevant professional perspectives. The principal practical risk is procedural: payment and submission are separate, so teams should finish early enough to verify the final portal status.

The 640-nomination structure creates very narrow categories. That can help projects find a close thematic fit, but it also means entrants should read the award mechanics carefully, including the automatic first-place rule for a nomination with only one entry. Because there is no cash prize or implementation promise and the trophy is purchased separately, the decision is best treated as a paid recognition and publication exercise.
