Jury, awards and finalist obligations

The organizer describes a jury spanning twenty countries and more than thirty designers and educators, but the 2027 call page does not provide a complete competition-specific name list. Award levels include Grand, Best in Category, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Excellence, Innovation and New Star distinctions. No cash prize is stated.

Shortlisted participants may choose digital or physical final evaluation depending on discipline. Physical shipping, insurance and any return costs belong to the entrant; unclaimed work may be treated as abandoned. Grand Award and category Best Design winners receive a trophy, while other winners are offered the opportunity to purchase one.

✦ ArchUp Competition Review

For architectural entries, the broad disciplinary field makes precise communication especially important: plans, sections and spatial evidence should carry the argument even though the upload format is compact. The free-theme route offers flexibility, while the AI unit should be treated as a design question rather than a decorative technology label.

The long call period, student first-entry waiver and published fee ladder are useful. Participants should nevertheless budget for the nomination-stage fee and possible physical-delivery costs. The absence of a named 2027 jury list, a precise closing time and a cash award are material points to weigh before entering.
