Noble World Hotel Awards 2026
Competition Brief
The Noble World Hotel Awards 2026 is an annual international recognition programme organised by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the same organisation behind MUSE Design Awards, MUSE Hotel Awards, and over 30 other commercial awards platforms. The programme recognises excellence across hotels, resorts, boutique hotels, villas, safaris and lodges, retreats, hotel leadership, and hospitality design. Season 2 of the 2026 programme is currently open, with an early bird deadline of 3 June 2026 and a final extension deadline of 9 September 2026. Results are announced 30 October 2026.
The programme is open to hotels, design firms, architects, interior designers, and hospitality professionals worldwide with no restrictions on location, star rating, size, or career stage. Hotels under development may enter at any construction stage provided planning approvals are in place.
Intent
The 2026 theme is “Global Inspirations: Celebrating Diversity in Luxury Hospitality,” framing the awards as recognition for establishments that blend cultural traditions, arts, and regional experiences into their spatial and service offer. The Hospitality Design track is the most directly relevant to architectural and interior design practice, covering architectural design, interior design, and landscape design of hotels and resorts. Judging for the Hospitality Design track uses five criteria: Creativity, Originality and Concept; Content, Brief, Objective, Planning and Execution; Innovation and Technology; Quality, Functionality and Sustainability; and Overall Impression and Wow Factor.
Categories
The programme covers eight tracks: Hotel (city, luxury, urban, spa, destination, eco/green, airport, wellness, heritage, and suite categories); Resort (beachfront, seaside, mountain, countryside, eco/green, and family categories); Boutique Hotel (business and leisure, eco/green, urban, heritage); Villa; Safari and Lodge; Retreats and Others; Excellence in Hotel Leadership; and Hospitality Design (covering architectural design, interior design, and landscape design of hospitality properties). Up to three categories can be submitted under one entry fee.
Judging Process
Judging is blind: all identifying information is removed before evaluation. Judges score on a scale of 1-100. A public voting component contributes 30% of the final score; the jury component contributes 70%. Only entries receiving a score exceeding 70 points in total are awarded. The jury is drawn from IAA’s Grand Jury Panel of over 200 international judges. Individual jury names are listed at noblehotelawards.com/our-judge.php.

✦ ArchUp Competition Review
The Noble World Hotel Awards is the third IAA commercial awards platform within the hospitality sector we have reviewed alongside MUSE Hotel Awards and MUSE Design Awards. The structural framework is identical across all three: blind judging on a 1-100 scale, no acceptance fees upon winning, tiered recognition levels, a commercially operated global jury panel, and no cash prizes. The Noble programme differentiates itself from MUSE Hotel Awards primarily through its five-tier winning structure, the inclusion of a public voting component contributing 30% of the final score, a broader range of hotel typologies including safaris, lodges, and villas, and a slightly higher threshold for recognition requiring scores above 70 points. The public voting component is the most significant structural difference and the most contested: it introduces a popularity and social media mobilisation dimension to the judging outcome that sits uncomfortably alongside the blind jury process and may advantage well-resourced marketing teams over genuinely exceptional design work. The Hospitality Design track at $209 USD early bird remains the most accessible and architecturally relevant entry point for practitioners. The Hotel track at $450 early bird targets hotels as operating businesses and evaluates them partly on “Brand Review and Reputation on Online Platforms / Social Media,” which is an explicit commercial metric rather than a design or spatial quality indicator. For architects and interior designers with hospitality projects, the Noble programme offers the same structural benefits as MUSE Hotel Awards within a slightly more elaborate recognition hierarchy. The decision between the two platforms is largely one of portfolio strategy and fee tolerance given that both operate under the same IAA umbrella and publish to the same Muse.World media partner.
