It was 1981 when MOMODESIGN first planted its roots in the centre of Milan. Drawing from the MOMO Group’s luxury automobile accessory design, the FGTR demi-jet helmet’s instant success saw the studio become an independent entity. Since then, MOMODESIGN has endeavoured to mould the identities of companies with their belief that design can do more than just shape their desires. As a result, the Milan-born team has found a way to stay true to its Italian heritage while leading the way towards unchartered business possibilities. In order to explore MOMODESIGN, what role they’ve played in the market, and as a brand and design center, the CEO of the company, Paolo Cattaneo, was consulted. By delving into the journey of MOMODESIGN, it brings to light the strategies and perseverance required for other design studios to make their own mark.
